Small than expected

I was looking for screws/studs to repair old hand saws. Standard handsaws are 3/4" thick and usual screws/studs are 5/8"-3/4" head size in diameter. These are barely 1/2" in diameter and the threaded portion of the stud is too short to connect through a 3/4" standard handle. Yes, you can counter sink the heads, but that takes away from the "old" saw feel. The material and quality of the screws and studs delivered was fine; just too small for my application.
