Japanese Bamboo Chasen Matcha Tea Whisk (100 Prong)

At first I saw some splintering and what not out the package but I'm gonna assume it's normal because it's made out of wood and the pieces are unlikely to fall you can just remove them carefully with your hand with a tug. I haven't ingested any of the wood pieces and I got this about 8 months ago and it's still going strong gives me beautiful microfoam you get better as you practice and the matcha quality probably affects the foam too. I've been swatting the air after washing off any matcha to remove excess water and using a stand not pushing the whisk all the way down only half, solid chasen but again I am pretty new to this.
