1 Year Review- Sledgehammer

I made the switch to the Merkur 39C SledgeHammer set based on compelling reviews, moving on from my MK34c or Futur. The difference the slant bar makes is remarkable! The 39C delivers a significantly more aggressive shave, achieving that closer cut I was seeking. When paired with Feather blades, its performance is outstanding. For the last year, the Sledgehammer has been my daily driver, and I foresee it remaining so for a long time. Regarding the grip, I find the knurling effective and have had no problems with it slipping. Thank you GeoFatboy for the great reviews and content, it helped a lot.
