I love the ring, but the customer service at FD was disappointing. I ordered 4 weeks before my wedding, expecting a 2-week turnaround. When I followed up after a week, I was brushed off and told I should've ordered earlier. Despite their promise to prioritize my order, it wasn't done by the Friday before my Sunday wedding due to engraving delays. They finally shipped it without engraving, as requested, with no apology. I had the ring for the ceremony, but their poor communication and service mean I'll look elsewhere in the future. Sorry, FD, but you could've done better.

I like the ring a lot, but I wasn't all that happy with customer service at FD. I ordered the ring 4 weeks before my wedding and had reviewed the published policies that offered 2 week turnaround. When I hadn't heard for a week, I followed up to find out if my ring would arrive in time, only to be brushed off that I should have ordered earlier. I asked if that meant that I wouldn't get the ring in time, and they responded letting me know that they had prioritized my order to make the date. Well, the Friday before my Sunday wedding, I still had no shipping confirmation. I reached out and they told me that it wasn't done yet because of the engraving request. This was the first time in the four weeks that I heard that engraving would cause this not to meet my deadline. They told me that it would be shipped by Tuesday ... 3 days after my wedding. I told them to forget the engraving and just ship as is. They did so with no apology or note about the mishap. So I have the ring, unengraved as I had paid for, and it's a nice one. At least I had it for our ceremony. Truly, I'd look elsewhere, purely due to their lack of communication and mediocre customer service. Sorry or the cold water FD - but you could have done better.
