Amanda (the owner of Crafty Jackalope) followed up with me regarding the 5mm needle as she did not have the driftwood option and offered me the pink version of the Lykke 5mm corded needles. Top marks for customer service. The Lykke needles were great, the yarn I was using is natural and toothy and the wooden needles kept the stitches in place (unlike the metal needles I use normally). And they are super cute. The structure of these corded Lykke needles is solid, and the connection point is strong. And I have no doubt these needles will last me a long time.
