I found it must be applied by hand/ fingers , forget trying to use a brush or sponge , product just will not sick to the face . It drys very quickly so no much time to work with product before it sets . Light to medium coverage that can be built up . Good shade range . No great if you have open pores and fine lines as I found the product just sat I into them.
