1/8 inch thick neoprene foam strips

I am very pleased with the larger 1X1. 1X1/2 and 1X3 neoprene strips. I have experimented with using the thin, wide strips for sealing between two tightly pressed surfaces like poly and aluminum. I find that they don't serve my purpose as well as I hoped. The adhesive seems to be very sticky and difficult to remove when I make placement errors and wish to scrape it off. However, it doesn't seem to stick when I need it to, as I have to continually press it down, hoping it will adhere. Also, just like with every product here, you need to be very careful to keep the backing from tearing along the edge as you apply, because once it does tear it is very difficult to remove residual backing from the product you are trying to apply. You might have to start over. Over all these are probably useful in the right application, but the nature of the adhesive makes them not quite right for my purpose of creating a seal along two smooth but dissimilar materials.
