Wood-Beech - 14x10 Propeller

I ordered a wooden prop for the aesthetics, but it arrived with a chip on a trailing edge of one of the blades. It is still functional, but it defeats the point of an aesthetic prop to be flawed from day one.

I love this prop and size. Perfect for .60 size planes with a DLE 20cc. I paint the wood part matte black and spray the whole prop with Satin clear and now it fits a perfect WWII Warbird with a scale look.

The propeller I received is not close to balanced. Given it is a varnished wood propeller, this is not good. Other brands of varnished wood propellers (F, X brands) are well balanced upon arrival, and do not require sanding. It appears quite a lot of material would have to be removed from one side given how out of balance it is.
