Blood Orange Cordial
Hi Liber,
As a micro-distillery in central Pennsylvania, we are only allowed to serve the alcohol we produce--so no Grand Marnier, no dry vermouth, no cognac, etc. For 11 years we have been making all of our own syrups and infusions in house to create a cocktail menu that always has about 40 cocktails on it! We found Liber when we were looking for a commercial orgeat, as it is labor intensive to make, and did not have much of a shelf life, and the consistency of the syrup itself also became an issue. So we found Liber when we found your orgeat, and we have been buying several of your syrups on a regular basis since then because they are so well made and fill the gaps of our own production.
We love the Blood Orange Cordial --Blood Orange is a difficult flavor to replicate, mainly because we can't always find blood oranges in PA. Your syrup is really quite delicious. Recently we featured it in a Blood Orange Cosmo made with Big Spring Spirits orange vodka, cranberry shrub, & fresh lime. We are also using it in two cocktails of our newly minted fall cocktail menu:
DRINK YOUR VEGETABLES
Beet-infused Seven Governors’ Gin, carrot juice, blood orange cordial, lemon, ginger, cinnamon syrup, Angostura bitters
VITAMIN C
Big Spring Orange Vodka, grapefruit juice, passionfruit juice, lemon, blood orange cordial, orange syrup, coconut water
I'm sure we will continue to find ways to use the Blood Orange Cordial--we change our cocktail menu seasonally, and so are always experimenting.
Thanks for your excellent customer service.
Lucy
