Sizing is off, I went one size up for my son and daughter hoping they would fit them through an entire year. My sons fit tight and my daughters were huge. The 8 and 9 seems oddly close to the same size. My daughters boots came dirty. We didnt send them back because she was going to get them dirty anyhow but if I'm spending that much on a pair of new shoes I expect better. Overall they are functional and we will keep them but they are heavy and I think theres probably a better all weather boot out there.
