TuffRider Air Mesh Washable Half Chaps

Love these

I love these half-chaps. I am an intermediate rider. I don't participate in any shows or anything. I've been wearing these to my riding lessons every other week for around two years now, and they finally wore out. I loved them so much I just had to get another pair. These are also perfect for the summer because of the mesh, they are a bit more breathable. When you need to wash them, just throw them in the laundry (separately) and let them air dry after. 5/5 recommend.

Notes on Fit; Durability Unknown

I'm 5'6", about 110 lbs, and calf circumference (with leggings on) was 12.5", behind-the-knee height 16" and I purchased size XS. I appreciate that breeches.com has a useful size chart, complete with units! The half-chaps fit over my 20-year-old smokey mountain lace-up paddock boots (size 7 or 7.5, I think), are snug but not too tight in the calf and probably wouldn't fit if they were any taller. I needed something that matched those brown boots for a fun show and to wear until I can try on nicer boots and half-chaps. They are definitely an improvement over long socks, but I'm new to hunter/jumpers (came from saddleseat), so I don't know how they compare to other half chaps. I've only worn them a few times and haven't washed them yet, so not sure how they will hold up long-term. I don't expect them to be super durable because they are not leather, but they certainly work in a pinch!
