Good, warm breeches, but inconvenient sizing

I got two pairs of these breeches for my daughter's outdoor winter riding lessons. The good is that they keep her warm and are comfortable and study. They are worn and washed every week and have held up well. The bad is that even though I ordered two pairs of the same size, one pair is considerably smaller than the other (not shorter, just smaller), to the point that my daughter couldn't pull them up completely or bend her legs comfortably in them. She says they feel like they'll fall off when she tries to sit in them. I wish I had her try on both pairs when I received them because the pair she wears every week is a perfect fit and she loves them, and I just assumed the other pair would be the same since they're the same size and color. I didn't even take the second pair out of the packaging until it's past the return date - live and learn!

Nice pants.

Not out of the package yet, Christmas gift for my 11 year old granddaughter. They look very nice, sturdy, good construction. I like the fleece lined since she lives in a cold climate.

Hopefully they will be as warm as they appear
