I have to say I did like the two “hugs” books better but the verdict is still out how my granddaughters will like it!

This is the second book in our collection for our granddaughter. She enjoys Diablo along with The Hug who got Stuck. Building her library one book at a time

Amazing illustrations. I knew the story from the original YouTube video first viewed around 2012 or so. I used it in a high school program to initiate debate, and it inspired awe. I was thrilled to see ut in book form. I bought the book for my new granddaughter, and when I read it to her, she loved the book. I think I would have told the story a little differently - and in fact when reading her the book I added parts in from the story as I'd seen it first. Just filling in a bit more detail so she could get a fuller picture of what was taking place. But the illustrations did a lot of that as well so I don't know if it was necessary.
