The crew is here erecting the structure now. I am impressed by the quality and overall strength of the fabrication. Just a thought but in my opinion there should be some gussets in the upper corners to eliminate the possibability of any sway. Otherwise we are quite happy with the purchase. Shipping was great as well.

Comments on the 20 x 20 shelter

According to the installers, they would suggest 2 cross braces on each side for better support during the windy weather Down East. It took 2 guys a better part of 2 days for the installation. The 12" anchors went in successfully even with all of the limestone we have in our area. Overall, they were impressed with the quality of the structure. Secondly, the roll-up doors may cause grief during the Winter for one person to navigate through the rolling up of each side. During installation it took two guys to roll up each side both on step ladders. Has your company thought of another process to raise and fall the doors? We were thinking of a pulley system adding a gusset that a pipe could be inserted into each section of the front and back doors where one would pull up and lock that section of the door in place for entrancing and exiting (similar to venetian blinds). Our intention was not to leave the doors open the entire Winter defeating the purpose of the shelter. We would welcome any suggestion that your research team has discussed to date regarding our concern. Otherwise, it has been the talk of our neighbourhood in the North End of Saint John New Brunswick.
