Deck Foot Auger Only

These augers are brilliant. My contractor never used one before but loves their ease and simplicity as well as the large ground contact zinc plate and the additional “+” piece we used to anchor in our 6x6 x 9’ clothes line post ( yes it was structurally tied into the deck joists).

Can't say no digging needed

It's been 2 weeks, since I got the augers, I've managed to get 2 in properly, the others I'm still moving to try and get down, short of me having to dig holes to see what is going on. This makes me question if going with this system was the best option for me. I was hoping to be further along in my deck building process. Can't blame it all on the auger as we've had a heat dome for the last 3-4 days, so that has also contributed to what can get done in the heat.
