Another great lesson series from David and the ProAudio EXP crew! Being an acoustic guitarist and recording hobbyist, I had very little knowledge about the intricacies of capturing ‘tone’ and how signal flow is affected from ‘pick to speaker’ going into this…until I worked through this course. Everything that could possibly affect guitar tone was covered: signal flow, gain staging, different guitars, amps and pedal configurations (and so much more!). You name it, it was covered! The audio/video instruction by James ‘Rooster’ Olson was also amazing. Both his and David's encyclopedic knowledge and professional experience about what goes into creating ‘tone' made everything much more understandable and helpful. I found the information and education definitely transferable to acoustic guitar tone as well. I’d highly recommend this course to any guitarist or recording engineer who wants to learn more. Thank you David and James for a terrific learning experience!
