Great wee bit of kit

When it comes to cutting wood fibre this knife works better than any hand saw including ones made specifically for insulation. It has sequence of curves on the cutting edge much like a bread knife. That is not to say it makes cutting 100mm woodfibre easy but if you don’t own an expensive 3 foot reciprocating saw it is the best bet. Also it cut much better if you have a flat base underneath almost up to the cutting line to minimise tear. As the knife is carbon steel it holds a sharp edge well but needs regular protection from moisture or it will quickly rust.
