deep flavor
I love this doenjang, the flavor is wonderful. I find that I use about half the amount compared to tub brands due to the intensity of flavor. My doejang jjigae has really improved with this jang.

Good for soup
Doenjang-guk made with the regular grocery store brands tastes absolutely terrible. This stuff is worth every penny.

Umami Flavor Bomb
Adding 0.5-1 TSP of this umami-rich soybean paste amplified the flavors of my homemade soft tofu soup and tteokboki. I'm going to try this in a marinade for short ribs very soon and can't wait! The size and weight of this bottle is substantial, so it should last me 1+ years.
