I had purchased the Van Gogh "Starry Night" tea cup with lid and strainer and wanted a more sunny one door morning tea... this fit the bill! These are my new favorite tea cups for making individual cups of tea morning and evening! I love the Van Gogh reproduction on the chip, and reminds me of the tea cups in China decorated in natural scenes, which come with porcelain lids to keep the tea hot while brewing or sitting on the table..l.
