Beautiful Material; Reminds me of a richly colored Cadillac from years ago

I immediately liked this color looking through color samples online, and ordered a sample swatch which sealed the deal for me. The material is generally easy to work with, but sometimes the 3M Controltac technology which should allow easy initial sliding does not work well at all on my Fiberglass and Aluminum substrates, which has resulted in tearing a few times when trying to free the film for proper positioning (this has caused the loss of quite a bit of the film). But, sometimes it has worked perfectly, with an easy slide into the desired position. While my project isn't quite finished (+80%), I am quite pleased with the results so far. The material is unidirectional, so I have lot's of application freedom, and have been able to use trimmings from earlier cuts in other locations. Splices don't stand too proud, and are easily passed with a casual glance. The clear protective film layer helps to deliver an unmolested final finish, but you have to be careful about it when cramming a lot of film around small converging area. I'd definitely buy it again, but its looking like I bought a bit too much. 8^|
