My daughter loves these tights. She is 8 years old, an average build, with a little bit of a swayback so her belly sticks out. Because of that, she doesn't like when tights dig into her waist. We got these in a Child M/L, and they are perfect for her. They are the first pair of tights that we found that do not have an aggressive elastic waistband. On top of being comfortable, they are the most incredibly soft tights we have owned. One thing to note is that they do look slightly more peach-colored than the typical ballet pink when they are un-stretched (i.e not on her body), but when she puts them on, I can't tell the difference between these and other ballet pink tights.
