The hairs for a silver tipped brush are plucked from the neck line and chest of the Badger. The hairs for this brush come from the back of the Badger. This brush has a slightly more aggressiveness to it than a silver tipped brush. That’s not necessarily bad. It lathers very well. When I return home from work, exhausted, I wash up, lather up the brush and scrub my face with it. Clean up, then sit down with my family to eat supper, clean and refreshed. This brush is excellent for shaving also. You won’t go wrong with it. It’s one of the best values on this website. You can spend much more and get much less.

The horse wants its hair back. This brush is so coarse I can’t stand it. I went back to the old one and it will do until I find a replacement.

It's vry soft and feels nice when putting on the shave soap. Highly recommend.
