Great razor, extra honing…..well

This razor is great. Beautiful, easy to handle and stays sharp once you get it sharp. The problem I had was that I paid for extra honing and the razor was sharp enough to shave but not comfortably. It pulled and tugged at my face. After 20 laps each with Dovo black and red stropping paste it glides across my face and is a joy to shave with and admire. I guess the bevel was set correctly or else no amount of polishing with paste would help but I expected better for the extra price paid. I give the razor 5 stars. The extra honing gets 3 stars.

Great razor good shaver

Acttually comes shave ready like most Dovos.. just strp it well 60 laps or so will do it.
