I am a beginner ukelele player and started out with a cheap soprano ukelele. I enjoy playing and decided to buy a Kohala deluxe solid top concert acoustic electric ukelele. I wanted something that I could grow into but which was affordable and of good quality. This ukelele not only looks beautiful but more importantly sounds beautiful. It has a very bright, warm, balanced, rich resonant quality. The quality of the instrument is outstanding. Their customer service is fantastic. Quick communication and shipping. And a Canadian family run business!! Very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this business.

Kohala Deluxe Solid Top Concert

I have to say I am very pleased with this purchase. Glad I went with the Deluxe version because it is well worth it, and it looks amazing. And the pictures on the web site do not do it justice. It is looks great, and the inlay is very nice. It does come with a nice basic case, but I suggest getting the better case upgrade (wish I did) because you will want to protect it the best you can, and keep it looking great. And yes, I would buy it again, and will probably purchase another one in the future, but with the upgraded case.
