This is a very thick , smooth and creamy soap that lets your razor glide. First time that I've tried this one and it is a very good soap. I love the almond scent. I wish you folks at WCS would come up with a fresh/ clean/ almond ( lots of almond scent) aftershave and cologne to go with this. It's a winner.

Compared to Tabac I think it's a slightly better product. Great lather! Great fragrance! Not sure if I would pay the retail price for this product at $50 unless I were a barber. But if you are OK with that price then I think you will be more than satisfied.

Smooth close shave

It took me a few times to figure out how to load this correctly. I like a thicker lather rather than a pillowy one, but this soap can do both easily with good technique. Load the brush for 30 seconds, the whip in a bowl, or hand, or even on your face, and it is perfect. I discovered that this cream, with Latigo aftershave, is pure heaven. Honestly I didn’t like it the first few times I used it but now it’s up there with Castle Forbes Sandalwood for the shaving pleasure. This is on my short list. Great shave cream.
