The best way to go by far. Make sure you get the 1/2 chain link as well. Derek the Coleman pop up specialist gave me great advice. I had a friend cut the old/amazon crank off and welded the new Coleman crank on. This baby cranks like a dream.
Warning: save yourself some time and money with original equipment. The amazon one I bought was a waste of money, it caused premature wear on the shaft that led to failure of the assembly.
Thank you Derek.

The crank assembly was a perfect fit. I installed a new chain and had to buy a half link for the chain.

My part came and was the right part. Shipping didn't take long, kinda spendy but worth it.
