Tioga [Lens Only]

I ordered prescription trail orange lenses and I had them special-order tinted at 32% (which is half the normal tint level they come in for greater light transmission). I absolutely love them and wear them for everything. They are great as blue-blocking lenses for the computer (which is what I got them for), yet are also excellent for hiking and driving during the day as well as into the evening. It is still winter here in the desert, so I will likely need my amber polarized lenses for the full summer sun, but these are excellent for everything else. Yes, the lenses themselves are kind of reddish looking, but they really improve contrast in low light, turning cloudy gray days into warm clear days and they cut the edge off indoor/computer lights. I think they are the most practical and comfortable lenses I ever had.

Just as they should be

I got a prescription clear lens for my Tioga frames and they were just as they should be. The switchable lenses are convenient because I can take the polarized sun-glasses on the hiking trail, but then use the clear lenses to drive home after dark. I only wish they offered more switch frames for smaller faces. Even the Tioga frames are a bit large for me, but they are the smallest full-rim switch frames they had.
