Meets Expectations

HS-610D purchased to replace bank safe deposit box for document storage. For my needs, the size is good with some room for additional items when needed. Dial needs steady hands, but for something that will rarely be accessed it is not a problem. Hopefully I shall never be in a position to comment on how well it performs its primary function of fire protection. Safe & Vault service was excellent, and safe arrived in expected time frame without any damage.

Good value and size

I really like this Hallon HS610-D. The safe arrived on time and without any damage. I really like the larger size. It helped me to create a safe-in-a-safe setup. This model gives me paper protection down to 350 degrees. I then brought a smaller fire safe to hold my digital backups, and put this into the Hallon safe. Plenty of room for everything I need to protect from a house fire. Side note. If you will go into the safe regularly, I would recommend the electronic lock version. I have the dial version. It is well built but a little slower to gain entry. It works fine for my needs.
