I bought a 2T-3T and it's small for my two year old. When she sleeps the feet part goes up and her legs are bare to the knees, also not warm enough for winter nights.

My son's room gets cold at night when the temperature drops unless we pump the heat so high that we sweat in our room. This allows it to be comfortable in the rest of the house without having to worry about my 18 mo boy being cold. We got the 2-3 year size because he is a big boy and it fits great, a little big but it's so cute that way and we'll get more use out of it. It's thick like a quilt and such soft fabric.
