This is the second "I am a survivor" pen I have purchased - I got the first one when she was still sick after the metastatic form returned. Perhaps a perverse message since survivorhood was snatched from her, but as a close BFF said, "She lived every day as if it was her best." The Parker brand was "her pen" since childhood; they really worked well, and this pen is no exception. In addition to sentimental value and high functionality, the value is superb. A working companion that I can also cry with; highly recommended.

Mont Blanc Elvis roller is terrific. I got it because I love the star on it, I'm not an Elvis fan. I love the barrel texture. I also love the silver gold mixture.
