It's fine
Initially, I avoided these converters, but after using them, they're fine. Pilot's piston converters often have trouble with ink hanging up in the walls, so I see why this needs the little ball bearings rattling inside. It's much less noisy when the pen is filled than when the pen is empty. I still much prefer the CON-20 and wish they kept making that. It had more ink capacity and fewer parts. This is an over engineered piece of technology to solve problems that were not problems with the CON-20.

User error
It’s not the fault of the converter itself, I just don’t really prefer the ones that include the little mixing balls. I struggle to get as much ink in there. I’d love to get an option without.
