Pilot Ink Cartridges - Black

Pilot's Namiki Black RUNZ GUD.

Excellent. I have never had an issue with Pilot's standard black cartridges. The ink flows well, dries reasonably quickly, and is a good dark black (in contrast, Platinum's regular black ink is noticeably light and pushing dark gray).

Pilot/Namiki ink is darn fine

Pilot/Namiki ink is the first ink any Pilot/Namiki fountain pen should see. A new pen, first a little bit of diluted dish soap like Dawn to wet the feed to clean the nib blot a couple times and then switch to plain water; dip and blot a couple times. Try other inks if you wish, compare and contrast enjoy. So many inks so little time.

the ink works very well with the pen. color and quality of the script is sharp and clean. it will do very good service to the pen.
