Redwood trees

When Redwood bonsai tree came it was very dry so I watered then month later so many leaves fall down and didn’t make it. I kept redwood tree at entry for direct light but Redwood trees gave up I don’t know why. Soil was great. It could be stress do not handle well with tree. I have about 30 Redwood trees on my ranch that grow great huge tall and very wide. I am sorry that happen.
