Fresh, Aromatic, Fantastic Taste

If you have used mostly store-bought Cumin, you are in for a surprise. This spice has an aroma that will make your mouth water. Food never tasted so good until I started buying fresh products from Spice House. I started back in 2012, and my first order had Cumin, Cayenne Pepper, Oregano Leaf (Fancy Greek), and Ancho Pepper. I learned from my Hispanic friends in So Cal 30 years ago to mix Ancho Pepper mixed 2-1 with Cumin and a dash of Cayenne makes the best taco/chili spice. 2 Ancho, 1 Cumin, and a dash of Cayenne. I have ordered this product every time the jar gets to 25%. Always order flat-packs and use my own flip-top jars. 12 oz capacity. My kitchen smells wonderful when I used Spice House spices.

Didn't think

I didn't think I was a cumin fan because of the smell & taste of the store bought cumin, but I have lots of recieps that called for it so I bought stright from my favorite spice house. Low & behold its wonderful.

So fresh!

If I'm using a lot of cumin, I'll buy the seeds and toast and grind them. *Great* In a pinch, or during warmer weather, I will buy the ground. It's a real, real close second. I never hesitate to restock with it.
