PE Repair strips - Set of 3

Waiting for advice

I received a quick reply to my initial inquiry regarding how to repair a crack in my hull. I was asked to provide photos of the damage. I replied back with photos expecting advice but have yet to hear anything. Because I have never performed this type of repair I was hoping for some professional guidance. Does the repair material work? I cannot provide an answer as I am still waiting for advice.

First ever disappointment

I purchased a double and single Falcon back in 2017 and they have been absolutely fantastic! I recently ordered new fastening clips and again they are to the same high standard. However, the PE repair strips disappointed. Yes they worked, but since they are clearly a waste item from the manufacturing process they could easily have been much thicker and therefore easier to use.

Hope they work

I was sent some strips a few years ago and used them up because your modular kayaks develop leaks in the mid section seam! They worked for several years and now more leaking has developed where it was heat ordered with the plastic you gave me. The strips you sent me this time look hairy and I haven’t been able to repair my kayak yet as I am just getting it out from winter storage. I Am disappointed with the fact that you only sent three very thin strips for $3.00 plus another $15 shipping. I am appreciative of being able to get them but however I would have expected a few more strips for that amount of $$$! People ask me about my kayak all the time but I’m not happy with having to repair it again!! I am a women 80 years old and don’t need the hassle!
