I bought two birthday candles, each personalized with the recipient’s first name, as Christmas gifts. Packaging was lovely. I think the February 25 person liked their candle more than the September 27 person; they generally seemed more enthusiastic and sent photos of it being used. That was interesting to me, because I also much preferred the February scent to the September; the former had a sort of earthy, outdoorsy scent that not only spoke to me but also truly reminded me of the recipient, while the latter read a little more floral and wasn’t quite my thing. I guess what I’m saying is that you are rolling the dice a bit when you order one of these re: whether the recipient will be a fan, but the personalization and horoscopes are so neat and thoughtful it’s worth the chance. Honestly, even if my birthdate scent didn’t speak to me, I’m guessing I would still burn it because it would feel so personal and thoughtful. These really do make a fantastic gift, and I have a feeling I will be back for one of the pendants in the future.

Very well made smell is fantastic for each individual candle well worth the price and personal for your birthday.
