New Life for an old Kettle

My son found an old original "Red" Weber kettle at a yard sale for $10 a few years ago. We replaced all the worn out parts, but he got really tired of inserting a digital thermometer in the smoke vents to find out the temperature he was cooking out. I drilled an appropriately sized hole, and installed the thermometer....it was like a cooking revolution had taken place! It made the whole experience so much better and easier. Quality product that works great.
