​Bold, vibrant colour and good quality leather, stiff but I’m sure it will soften up over time. Nice paper too, my main issue is with the cord and button which hold it closed, there are big knots tying them to the journal which mean when you’re writing there are two big lumps under the paper which affect your writing. Will probably take them off and use a band or ribbon and try and ignore the two holes that will leave.
