The Soul's Longing

A phenomenal book. I had to read it for the scriptural courses of study in the Pastoral School and I'm glad I did. It goes a great job of walking the reader through the Orthodox understanding of hermeneutics, Protestant biblical scholarship, as well as how the West got to where it is in this regard. Written with academic precision and Christian love, I now recommend it to everyone who will listen.
