Replaced catalyst under 2 year pro-rated warranty. Process was easy and saved $150. Original catalyst is/was metal (still have it) and I’ll put it back in if this ceramic unit doesn’t hold up. Midwest Hearth rep stated cause of failure as thermal shock…
