20oz TKWide with Café Cap

Looks good, but a failure in use. The main reason we want metal drink containers is to avoid microplastic and to make cleaning easy. The bumps that serve as threads in the bottle create dimples in edges of the plastic cap threads every time the lid is tightened. Eventually, little pieces of plastic are dislodged, and you swallow them. Also the lid is too complex with too many plastic parts. I also have the loop cap which claims to only touch the drink with metal, but the plastic threads are a problem, and the inner seal is too thick preventing the outer seal from closing. Also, the inner seal is a complex shape with a tiny flap that is hard to clean. I will never buy another klean canteen unless it is actually clean: 100% METAL botte AND cap, solid round o-rings, and a bare metal finish.

Best water bottle so far!

First of all, I love the color options. Secondly, my water stayed ice cold for over 24 hrs! And it can withstand the heat waves as well. Just make sure that your lid is on right or you will have some leakage. I always do the test of tipping it upside down. So far it's been my favorite water bottle, hands down!

Improved 20 oz. TKWide With Cafe Cap

The TKWide with Cafe cap is the ultimate engineered upgrade. It is very easy to screw the cap on, it doesn’t leak, it is very quick to get a drink. It has a steel flip up loop that allows me to strap it into an exterior side pocket of my backpack so that I din’t loose it like I did my previous 20 oz. wide mouth Klean Kanteen cafe lid bottle. The strongly adhered color coat that you say is better than powder coat is also great.
