Ok so i wouldnt call this soil. Tiny chips of clay or stone maybe. Anyway for what i use it for its great. I use a soilblend from a local nursery for my bonsai. Then i take a thin layer of this stuff on top it helps it stay moist and cool much longer kinda the same thing that you would do with mulch.

The Soil you sent me looks like some small , Man Made Rocks. No sand no dirt no clay. It is not the same soil that is in the Bonsai trees you send me.
