Men's Alpaca Wool T-Shirt: 160 Ultralight Crew Neck

Very nice shirt, just not for me

I’ve been upgrading my wardrobe especially as I travel a lot and have been wanting to be more efficient in my packing. So, I’ve been buying various merino and alpaca shirts to use as undershirts. This is a very well made shirt and super lightweight. The issue is that I found it to be MORE scratchy than many of the merino shirts that I’ve tried. I have an Arms of Andes pullover that I love for hiking, but I likely will ve sticking to merino for skin contact items of clothing if this is indicative of how alpaca feels.

i purchased for my husband. He did not like the feel of the fabric and found it very itchy. He tried the shirt on, promptly took it off and i requested a return. the return policies at Arms of Andes are so difficult to navigate. i had to send a description and send photos. i followed all the steps only for them to tell be there were deoderent marks inside the shirt. i have no way to confirm or deny this, but they are denying the return and supposedly sending the shirt back to me. to date i have not received tje shirt back, and im not sure what i will do with it once received. so, they have my money ($101) and my shirt. I do not recomend.

My New All Time Favorite T Shirt

I did not think I could love a T shirt so much!! I have purchased many nylon-wool blended T shirts, and I thought they were great ... until I tried this one. The stretch is actually better than nylon, and it is super breathable. I also love the (very slight) itch feeling initially, which goes away quickly, as it reminds me that this product is the real deal: completely 100% alpaca wool. I find myself reaching for it above all my other T shirts.
