iE 2.5L 5 Cylinder Intake Manifold Basic Power Kit

I have a header with three inch exhaust tubing. Modified the stock cat to three inch also. The only muffler is a chambered tube muffler. I don’t feel as big of of a power gain as I had hoped. Only difference seems to be from 3500-5000rpm. It’s a race car and it pretty much lives at 4000-7000rpm.

there was more modification for my install than I thought but I worked it out. It does sound really nice though and the power band is really nice is the higher rpms.

Fun Project, but be prepared for Modifications if you have N/A Golf 2014

Great overall and interesting experience putting this together on a 2014. I would highly recommend getting the optional CAI as it comes with the tubing molds needing to attach to the various Vacuum, Block Breather SAI etc... Otherwise you're Fabricating. Also note that this Intake Manifold will not work with AEM CAI for 2.5L (Angle and Length of hoses won't work .
