Winsted Blue Silk Tie

This was a welcome addition to my collection of blue ties. The color was an interesting navy hue with a matte sheen that goes brilliantly with a navy or dark grey blazer, and with a white or patterned pocket square.

Nice tie

Quality tie made of interesting fabric with a nice hand, and a grooved texture. The blue is a little lighter than my navy suit, which is a dark navy - this is more a medium navy.

The Dark Knot Rises

Decided to personalize an ugly work shirt with a tie. Having tied the same knot for decades, I explored new methods. I ended up on a YouTube channel called Real Men’s Style Guide. RMSG recommended the Dark Knot. When I looked at the site I found them to be a bit pricey for what I was doing, but I was impressed with many of the designs. I also liked how you can search for styles by color or get suggestions to pair with certain items. After thinking I had found the right tie somewhere else, I kept coming back to my cart on The Dark Knot. It was close to Thanksgiving so I was able to get the look I wanted at a great price for black Friday. As a man of a certain age looking to establish a wardrobe and look, I am glad I found this company.
