OEM RNS510/RNS315/RCD510/MIB2 Bluetooth Microphone

Once installed I am now able to use the new-to-me head unit (MIB2) as expected. I am able to answer phone calls and use Apple CarPlay for texts. I routed the microphone end of the wire into the ceiling space by loosening all the retaining screws and pulling the headliner down just enough to tuck the wire in before routing the rest of the wire down the A pillar and through the dash to the radio.

This fit right into my mk5 r32 with the rns315. It was a little annoying to install without any instructions but I know it'd be to hard to do it for every type of VW. Overall it works great with no issues

Installed an MIB2 headunit in my wife's Fahrenheit GTI and realized she didn't have an oem mic in the car so she calls couldn't hear her. Ordered this oem mic, and it works fantastic! Installation is simple but tedious as the wire needs to run across the headliner, down the passenger A pillar and through the dash to the headunit. One done and tested it worked right away!
