1/240 scale 4 inch gun set

I thought they looked good when I opened the box but when I sprayed them with fine primer the incredible detail really popped out! Perfect replacements for the awful guns in the old Revell kit. Be careful removing the supporting sprue -magnifying glasses will help prevent cutting off tiny details.

Great way to save old Revell 4-stack destroyer kits

Having an old Revell kit and PE set, the PE set helps a bit to improve the old plastic molding efforts, but the 4 inch guns are really pathetic. The Destifan gun set greatly improves the model.
