Pump sac good but could've been more

It does the job as pump sack well, it's lightweight and packs up small. I'm confused though about the choice to make the top a draw string. I can't really use it as anything else effectively like that. Would it have been so much extra to put a roll top on it and make it a useful stuff sack or storage bag too? I don't recall if there's even a picture showing the drawstring top or only partially rolled, but I was certainly surprised to see it when I got it. So instead of neatly and compactly holding stuff it gets stuffed into my sleeping pad bag.

A must have lightweight pump for backpacking.
