So cozy, a feeling of comfort and warmth - not ideal if you are super sensitive to wool, though not scratchy at all!

More like winter tights than leggings in terms of opacity - can’t be worn by itself! I would describe it as a midweight base layer than leggings. Excellent warmth, especially if you’re prone to feeling cold. The knit does feels really rough when you first put it on, but not itchy, and I got used to the rough texture after a few wears. I thought I might have bought a size too small when I first received it. But size turned out well. I believe there’s no elastic in the actual knitted fabric (elastic in waistband only), so the wool did stretch to fit more comfortably and remain form fitting, not baggy. Pros: 100% wool, good fit, true to size, has ribbon side loops inside the waist for hanging. Cons: no pre-made opening to replace waist elastic (will need to carefully stitch one of the seams if/when you need to replace), rough texture. Do note there’s no cuff at the ankle. Would buy again and recommend, despite the rough texture. Would have loved to get the orange colour but that wasn’t available when I placed my order. I’m 5’3”, 100lbs, narrow hipped, bought XS size. It’s sits high waisted on me, which is actually good as it warms the lower back as well. The legs are also long on me, but don’t feel that’s an issue - it fact makes it better as it provides me with more give when bending.
