We've used it for decades

My mother used Carl's lemon seasoning since, at least, the 1970's. She got it at a small mom-and-pop grocery store in the Bay Area and sent me off to college with a jar in 1971. We especially like in on broiled or baked salmon. I moved to Minnesota in the 1980s and tried other lemon/lemon pepper seasonings but none were as good so I would pick up a jar or two when I'd visit California; now we get it online. When we had kids, we actually had a mom ask for the seasoning because her son would eat salmon at our house, but not when she'd cook it without.
